Stand T.A.L.R Ride

Friday 31 Jan 2020

This month’s Stand T.A.L.R (Talk, Ask, Listen, Refer) Ride was a huge success with a record number of prison officers, their families, members of the WA Police Union and government officials taking part in the day.

In a show of solidarity more than 180 participants set off from the iconic Fremantle Prison in an effort to reduce the stigma associated with poor mental health among prison officers in our jails.

In excess of $2,000 was raised on the day, which will go to the Black Dog Institute.

They invest in depression and suicide prevention programs and initiatives. Thank you to everyone who took part.
